Hello everyone. Many medical aspirants who don't get a government seat in India consider MBBS abroad. Having researched this extensively, here is an honest take:
**Pros**:
- Lower Cost: Total package is often under 25-35 Lakhs including hostel and food.
- No Donation: Admissions are direct based on NEET qualification.
- Global Exposure: Learning in a new culture and country.
**Cons**:
- NExT / FMGE Exam: You MUST clear the National Exit Test to practice in India. Historically, FMGE pass percentages are low (15-20%).
- Language Barrier: You will need to learn the local language (Russian, Georgian) to interact with patients during clinical years.
- Clinical Exposure: Sometimes limited for foreign students compared to local students.
If you are disciplined, choose a university with an established track record and high FMGE passing rate, it can be a good pathway.
